Kerala PSC 12th Level (Plus Two) Question Papers & Model Questions

The 12th Level stream covers every Kerala PSC post whose minimum qualification is a pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent. As with the 10th level, a Common Preliminary Examination screens applicants before a post-specific Main Examination.

This is the uniformed-services stream more than any other. Police Constable, Civil Excise Officer, Beat Forest Officer, Fireman and Women Police Constable are the posts that draw the largest fields, and all of them add physical measurement, endurance and efficiency tests to the written stage.

It also covers a large body of diploma-based technical and paramedical posts — Overseer, Draftsman, Pharmacist, Laboratory Technician and Radiographer among them — where Plus Two is paired with a specific certificate or diploma.

Two written stages, and for many posts a third physical stage.

• Common Preliminary Examination — objective, common to the stream, used to shortlist.
• Main Examination — post-specific and rank-deciding.
• Physical Efficiency Test — for the uniformed posts. Height, chest and weight minimums apply and differ by post and gender, followed by timed endurance and efficiency events.

The written syllabus covers general knowledge and current affairs, quantitative aptitude and mental ability, and language. Diploma-based posts add a technical paper in the candidate’s own subject at the Main stage.
